Elviria is part of Marbella East, the stretch of coast between Las Chapas and Cabopino where the town gives way to pine woods and low-rise developments. It feels more like a string of neighbourhoods than a resort: apartment complexes around shared gardens and pools, villas on the hills, and a long sandy beach below.
It is family territory. Many visitors rent an apartment by the week, many more own one, and a good number of residents live here all year. People choose it for the beach and the space, with Marbella town and Puerto Banús a short drive west and Fuengirola to the east.
The coast road runs straight through the middle. On one side the complexes slope down to the sea; on the other, the Elviria hills rise towards the golf courses. Nearly every arrival ends with a turn off that road, and choosing the right one is most of the job.
Where we drop you in Elviria
- Elviria beach side
- The developments between the coast road and the beach, many with direct access to the sand. Complexes are large and the blocks look alike, so give the block and the entrance.
- Elviria Hills
- The hillside inland of the coast road, with villas and complexes climbing on winding streets. Some roads are steep and poorly lit, so a precise address helps at night.
- Las Chapas
- The western part of Marbella East, towards Los Monteros: villas and long-standing developments among the pines, on both sides of the road.
- Around the golf courses
- The developments set around the courses in the hills above Elviria, reached by roads that wind up from the coast. Addresses are usually the name of the complex.
- Towards Cabopino
- East of Elviria the pines continue to the marina and the dunes at Cabopino. If your address sits between the two, the name of the development tells us which way to turn.
From Málaga Airport to Elviria
At Málaga you come out through the arrivals hall on the ground floor of Terminal 3, whichever terminal your plane uses. Your driver waits there with your name on a sign; tap “I have landed” in your booking and he messages you when he sets off.
The route goes west past Torremolinos, Benalmádena and Fuengirola. The free A-7 follows the coast; the AP-7 toll motorway runs parallel inland. Elviria is on the eastern side of Marbella and hangs off the coast road, so the toll road saves less here than it does further west.
The driver decides on the day according to traffic, and the price agreed at booking is the same whichever road he uses.
Worth knowing before you travel
Block, entrance and floor
Large complexes have several gates and blocks with similar names. Add the block and the entrance you use, and a mobile that will be on when you land.
Say which side of the coast road
Beach side or hill side changes the turning. A missed exit means carrying on to the next junction and coming back.
Child seats are free on request
Most bookings here are families. Ask for the seats when you book, with the children's ages, and there is nothing extra to pay.
Pushchairs and beach gear take room
A pushchair, a cot or golf clubs fill a boot quickly. Count them with the suitcases so the right vehicle is sent.
Questions people ask
What happens if my flight is delayed?
When you land, tap “I have landed” in your booking and your driver will know you are heading for the exit. A delayed flight costs you nothing extra.
Where do I meet my driver?
In the arrivals hall, once you are through. Your driver holds a sign with your name, and we also email you their phone number.
Is the price per person or per car?
Per car. The price you see covers the whole vehicle, your luggage and any tolls.
Can I cancel?
Yes, from the link to your booking: free of charge up to 24 hours before pick-up. We refund the amount to the same card. With less time there is no refund. If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice or don't show up, the deposit is not refunded and the rest of the fare is charged to the card you booked with.
Do you have child seats?
Yes. Add them when you book and we assign a driver who carries them, at no extra cost.
Is Elviria in Marbella?
Yes, it is part of the municipality of Marbella, on its eastern side between Las Chapas and Cabopino. It has its own page because the drop-off points are some distance from the town centre.
Our apartment complex has several entrances. Which one should we give?
The one you would use with your luggage, usually the main gate or reception. Put the complex name, the block and that entrance in the address, and the driver will wait there.
Can we book the car back to the airport from Elviria too?
Yes, it is booked the same way. Choose the pickup time at your accommodation, not the flight time, and allow margin in summer, when the coast road towards Málaga is busy in the mornings.
