Book your transfer in Cabopino

For a Cabopino transfer, specify whether you need an accommodation, marina or residential address. Include the building name and meeting point; a general beach reference is not a pickup location.

For an airport departure, book the pickup time at your accommodation, not your flight's departure time. Add the address and access instructions for the driver.

Add suitcases and child seats when booking. Mention golf clubs, pushchairs or bulky luggage in the notes so we can check that they fit your chosen vehicle.

Cabopino is the eastern edge of Marbella, where the municipality meets Calahonda. It is small and green: a compact marina with apartments around the harbour, a beach backed by the protected dunes of Artola, and residential developments set among the pines on both sides of the coast road.

The people who come here like it quieter than the rest of Marbella. Some rent an apartment overlooking the boats, some own a house on the hill, and many simply want a beach with dunes and a wooden boardwalk rather than a promenade. Marbella town and Fuengirola are both within easy reach by road.

“Cabopino” can mean three different places: the marina, the beach or one of the developments nearby. The approach to each is different, and the booking goes faster if it says which one.

Where we drop you in Cabopino

The marina
A small harbour with apartment buildings, terraces and shops around the quay. The car stops at the entrance area; the last stretch along the harbour is on foot.
The beach and the Artola dunes
The beach next to the marina, backed by a protected dune area crossed by a boardwalk and watched over by the old Torre de los Ladrones. There is no road to the sand, so drop-off is at the nearest street.
The developments on the hill
Inland of the coast road, apartment complexes and villas climb among the pines. Streets are winding and many entrances look alike, so give the development and the block.
Towards Calahonda and Elviria
Cabopino blends into Calahonda to the east and Elviria to the west. If your address sits near the boundary, the name of the development tells us which turning to take.

From Málaga Airport to Cabopino

Every scheduled flight comes out into the same arrivals hall, on the ground floor of Terminal 3. Your driver waits there with a sign bearing your name; tap “I have landed” in your booking once you are on the ground and he messages you as he sets off.

Cabopino is the first part of Marbella along the road from the airport. The free A-7 runs along the coast through Torremolinos, Benalmádena and Fuengirola; the AP-7 toll motorway runs behind. For Cabopino the toll road saves little, because the destination is right on the coast road.

The driver chooses the road on the day depending on traffic, and the price agreed when you booked stays the same.

Worth knowing before you travel

  • Marina, beach or development?

Say which one in the booking, with the building or complex name. The marina and the beach are reached on foot from the nearest road; the developments have their own gates.

  • Luggage on the last stretch

If you are staying in the marina, expect to wheel your cases the final part. The driver helps you as far as the car can go.

  • Child seats at no extra cost

Ask for them when you book, with the children's ages, so the driver arrives with the right ones.

  • Summer weekends at the marina

In July and August the marina and the beach fill up, and so does the parking. For the return journey, pick a clear meeting point at the edge of the harbour.

Questions people ask

Is the price per person or per car?

Per car. The price you see covers the whole vehicle, your luggage and any tolls.

Can I cancel?

Yes, from the link to your booking: free of charge up to 24 hours before pick-up. We refund the amount to the same card. With less time there is no refund. If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice or don't show up, the deposit is not refunded and the rest of the fare is charged to the card you booked with.

Do you have child seats?

Yes. Add them when you book and we assign a driver who carries them, at no extra cost.

Can the car drive into Cabopino marina?

Only as far as the access area. The quay itself is for pedestrians, so the driver stops at the nearest point and you walk the last few metres to your apartment.

Is Cabopino part of Marbella or Mijas?

Cabopino and its marina are in Marbella, at its eastern end; Calahonda, next door, belongs to Mijas. The development name decides which page to book, and if in doubt the full address is enough for us to check.

We are staying in a development above the coast road. What should we write?

The development name, the block or villa number and the entrance you use. Several complexes share similar names, so the entrance matters.
